You like my work? Thank you! I’ll happily listen to your requirements. Paintings can be created in many sizes, shapes and colors. Please ask for information by contacting me directly.
All commissions are subject to a 50% non refundable deposit at the time of booking.
We will not commence with your commission until the down payment is verified on our end. The remaining 50% is paid upon completion before shipping or collecting the artwork.
Once complete, commissions must be collected within 2 weeks if the order is made within Stockholm. In other cases or if you’re unable to collect your piece, an additional shipping cost will be calculated if anything else isn’t agreed upon.

A commission schedule will be provided at the time of booking with a price estimate.

A commission is always different from previous paintings.
We can not replicate paintings even if they’re made by us, and we do not make canvas prints or other prints. There is only one original piece of your painting, making our art both exclusive and one of its kind.

Pictures will always be taken on commissioned pieces and might be used for marketing purposes and more in the future.

We do not provide hanging assistance outside of Stockholm, but can recommend professionals for you to contact. Delivery- & hanging assistance is available for an additional cost within Stockholm or for bigger orders upon agreement.

We do not frame any paintings as it’s often just as individual in taste as the painting itself. Our partners can help you with framing or we have for you to contact.

If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 3 days of delivery. You have to provide a description of the damage as well as photos due to insurance claims. All damaged goods are returned to us if nothing else is agreed upon after contacting us. The notification should be in written form and sent to hello@byhannasdotter.com using the subject “urgent”

If the artwork is heavily damaged we are unable to make an exact original copy, but we might be able to offer a canvas print, gift card or a replacement in the same price range.

Light damage might be repaired with us or another recommended professional.

If you’re not happy with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days of delivery to inquire about an exchange or shop credit upon return. The claim should be in written form and sent to hello@byhannasdotter.com using the subject “urgent”, clearly stating that you want to return or exchange your piece. 

Commissions/custom orders, murals and special orders are non-refundable as well as shipping charges, express fees, costs for hanging assistance or transportation and additional add-ons.

We offer a full refund if your order is substantially deviating from the original description that affects your experience with us and your artwork, e.g. if the painting arrives in the wrong size.


Note that the colors and details of the painting varies depending on your screen, its settings like brightness/resolution/lightning, and our individual color reception. The photo of the painting also differs from the original artwork (most of our pictures have a water stamp that doesn’t exist on the actual painting e.g), and no refunds are made on this notion. Contact us if you want additional pictures of the painting before placing your order.

Art from By Hannasdotter is an unique, one-of-a-kind painting. When you purchase an original you purchase the only one in existence. It’s signed and dated by Amanda Hannasdotter and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

A reproduction or print is a copy of one of By Hannasdotter’s original paintings and if found, please contact us immediately since it’s most definitely an illegal copy. We advise you not to buy it and absolves me of responsibility from all contact or purchases made with these people or their copies.

Gallery wrapped is a method of stretching a canvas so it wraps around the frame and secured to the back of it. Artwork that is gallery wrapped can hang without a frame.

Varnish is the last layer of protection put on the painting to protect it from dust, dirt, humidity and scuffing, and gives it an UV-protection.

Wired and ready to hang means that your artwork has the proper hanging hardware in place when you receive it. Once unpacked, your painting is ready to go on your wall. Enjoy!

We might, depending on the artwork, change the proportions of a painting. If you want to buy a painting in a different size, please contact us and we will have a look.

Congratulations, we offer art consultations! Just reach out with a photo of the area where you are looking to place your art, measurements or colors that may be relevant. We will happily return an answer with suitable options such as already existing artwork, an idea for commission or recommend another artist or professional.

We cooperate with partners within interior design, home styling and decorations as well as full office- & home makeovers. For bigger projects we only do on site consultation, please contact us directly if you need to renovate and decorate.

We also do art consultation meetings in Stockholm.

Yes, if you are interested in viewing works in progress or would like to discuss a commission. Just reach out to schedule a time. Studio visits are by appointment only, Monday-Friday. Note that the studio does not stock prints for sale. All print orders are processed through the website.  

All large scale original work comes with a ‘Certificate of Authenticity’. By Hannasdotters artwork is signed and dated. Gallery wrapped paintings may be signed on the edge as opposed to the front allowing the collector to position according to preference and space.

You can pay upon collection or booking through Swish, eTransfer, Paypal or by arrangement.  All commissions are subject to a 50%, non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. All purchases are subject to appropriate taxes.
